General terms for all services by Kensington Steam Limited.

Accepting These Terms

Kensington Steam Limited is a specialist steam cleaning company. Kensington Auto is a mobile auto valeting cleaning division of Kensington Steam Limited. By accessing or using the services provided by Kensington Steam Limited, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service.

Client Has Permission to Possess Property

You confirm that you have the lawful right to possess the property being serviced by Kensington Steam Limited.

Payment Methods

Payments for services must be made using approved payment methods determined by Kensington Steam Limited. We do not accept cash or checks, and you should not make any payment arrangements with our technicians. Payments to Kensington Steam Limited should be made directly to us. Any payments made to technicians shall be considered gratuities and not payment for services rendered by Kensington Steam Limited.

Communication

Effective communication is essential to avoid misunderstandings and ensure seamless scheduling of services.

Accuracy

By requesting services from Kensington Steam Limited, you represent and warrant that all information provided is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.

Scheduling Conflicts

You agree to inform Kensington Steam Limited of any scheduling conflicts, inclement weather conditions, or delays that may affect the ability to perform services at the scheduled time.

Attendance

You, or a person you trust with your vehicle, home or business must be physically present at the premises during the scheduled services. Kensington Steam Limited may pause or delay services if you are not present or leave during the service.

Opportunity to Perform

If you fail or refuse to allow Kensington Steam Limited to begin scheduled services or attempt to interrupt services, we may, at our discretion, vacate the premises. Your sole remedy in such cases shall be the receipt of a gift card, minus fees and costs payable to the technicians.

Refund Policy

As we provide a service there are no refunds. We make every effort that as a client of Kensington Steam you will be satisfied with our professional services. If however you are not satisfied, we will be happy to arrange with you a credit for booking a corrective service. This remains entirely at the discretion of the company. Any complaints must be submitted in writing with demonstrative photos to steam@kensingtonsteam.com for residential and commercial cleaning and to auto@kensingtonsteam.com for car valeting and detailing. Weather Policy

Kensington Steam Limited reserves the right to determine if appointments need to be rescheduled or adjusted due to weather conditions. Appointments affected by inclement weather are ineligible for refunds and may only be rescheduled or transferred to a gift card.

Rescheduling Appointments

Each purchase includes one appointment reschedule. Additional reschedules may be subject to a fee, but Kensington Steam Limited may waive it at our discretion. Rescheduling or refunding a rescheduled appointment is not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance of service to avoid fees. Failing to provide adequate notice may result in fees or forfeiture of the appointment.

Severity

If a Severity issue is present, you must notify Kensington Steam Limited promptly. For purposes of this Agreement, “Severity” means the subject property is in a state, condition, or status such that Client’s services, as initially requested, would be insufficient under the circumstances. For example, in the case of a vehicle, a Severity may exist when a vehicle contains excessive pet hair, bodily fluids, surplus oxidation, rotting produce, spoiled liquids, burn marks, etc. A Severity may require additional cleaning efforts, which may result in additional charges.

Client shall notify Kensington Steam Limited of the presence of a Severity at either the time of scheduling the appointment, or if the Severity occurs after the appointment is scheduled, immediately upon its occurrence or discovery. Client shall take reasonable steps to mitigate the presence of any Severity prior to Kensington Steam Limited arrival.

Should the vehicle require additional cleaning as a result, Clients will be charged at seventy five pounds (GBP 75) per hour billed in 30 minute increments.

For residential and commercial cleaning, should the property or equipment require additional cleaning as a result, Clients will be charged at ninety five pounds (GBP 95) per hour billed in 30 minute increments.

The technician will assess the vehicle, equipment or property on arrival and agree any charges with the client in advance of starting the service and subject to availability.

Should the technician not have time to finish to service in the allotted time frame as a result of a Severity issue Kensington Steam Limited and the client can arrange to book another service at a later date.

Personal Effects

Kensington Steam Limited is not liable for any damage to, loss of, or disposal of personal items during services. Please remove valuables before service.

Risk of Loss & Indemnity

You assume all risk of loss for damage to personal property. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Kensington Steam Limited harmless from any liability related to personal property.

Limits of Liability

Kensington Steam Limited's liability is limited to the value of the service provided. We are not responsible for damage to certain equipment or vehicle components or pre-existing conditions.

These Terms of Service govern your use of Kensington Steam Limited's services, including services rendered under Kensington Auto, and by using our services, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to them.
